The focus of this five year professional degree was to produce highly trained pharmacist especially in the field of clinical pharmacy. Most of the pharmacists in Pakistan are involved in pharmaceucal industries and the rest are serving in drug regulatory authories, sales and markeng, community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, research and development departments and as teaching facules in different universies, colleges or instutes. Therefore, the prime focus of Pharm-D program is to train the pharmacy students as highly qualified pharmacists for different fields of pharmacy.
