Departmental Facilities:

The Institute of Microbiology has highly skilled teaching faculty, which are providing an excellent learning environment that excites and build up students both professionally and intellectually for high standard scientific literacy. The Institute has air conditioned lecture rooms/halls and conference/seminar rooms for faculty and students. Library is equipped with computers, books, and Journals and students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, debates etc. The Institute’s faculty collaborates at National and International level for research projects to enhance the technology and skills.

The Institute offers state-of-the-art research facilities and is linked with Al-Aleem Center for Advance Studies and Research to study industrial microbiology, pharmaceutical microbiology, infection and disease diagnosis, genetic engineering, protein engineering, and biotechnology. The Gulab Devi Teaching Hospital, Lahore is a Reference center for Tuberculosis (TB) to treat chest diseases to improve the health sector by curing and preventing the spread of the disease. The TB Control Program under the umbrella of Gulab Devi Teaching Hospital and is funded by World Health Organization (WHO). Moreover, the Institute provides valuable skills and compel learning experiences to students by;
