Introduction

The Department of Psychology was established in 2018 under the Institute of Social Sciences at Gulab Devi Educational Complex, Lahore, to foster academic excellence, professional competence, and community engagement in the field of psychology. The department is committed to equip students with a deep understanding of human behavior, evidence-based therapeutic skills, and a strong ethical foundation. By integrating theory, research, and applied practice, it seeks to prepare future psychologists who can effectively respond to the psychological needs of individuals and society in diverse clinical, educational, and organizational settings.
