Part -I (Six Months)

Theoretical Component

  • General Pathology / Microbiology
  • Applied Physiology
  • Applied Anatomy
  • Principles of Pharmacology and therapeutics
  • Epidemiology of Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases
  • Behavioural Sciences
  • Introduction to Biostatistics & Research

Practical component

  • Pathology Specimens / Slides
  • Microbiology Gram and ZN staining / culture
  • Regular duty in Ward and OPD
  • Routine history taking, examination and investigation.

Part -II Year & A Half

Theoretical Component

  • Pulmonary and extra Pulmonary Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases other than Tuberculosis.

Practical component

  • Pathology Specimens / Slides
  • Microbiology Gram and ZN staining / culture
  • Regular duty in Ward and OPD
  • Routine history taking, examination and investigation.
